Amy Daniels, LPC-Associate
Amy Daniels believes everyone has a unique story worth sharing and deserves a safe, compassionate space where they feel truly heard, understood, and supported. With a warm, approachable personality and a genuine appreciation for humor, Amy strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore life's challenges, discover new perspectives, and move toward meaningful healing and personal growth.
Amy's Approach to Counseling
Amy takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to counseling, incorporating existential and narrative-based techniques to help clients better understand their experiences, identify personal strengths, and rediscover a sense of purpose. Through thoughtful conversations and reflective questions, she encourages clients to explore what matters most to them, challenge unhelpful patterns of thinking, and embrace opportunities for positive change.
Amy enjoys working with individuals across various ages and stages of life. She has experience and a special interest in supporting those navigating anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain, complex mental health challenges, and significant life transitions. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals find renewed direction and purpose, as well as walking alongside women experiencing the emotional and physical changes associated with perimenopause and menopause.
Faith-Based Counseling
Amy also welcomes clients who wish to incorporate faith and spirituality into their counseling experience. She provides a supportive space to explore spiritual questions, doubts, faith transitions, and faith deconstruction without judgment. For clients seeking Christian counseling, Amy enjoys helping individuals deepen their relationship with Christ while navigating life's challenges and finding encouragement through their faith.
A Little About Amy
Outside the counseling office, Amy enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 33 years, and together they have raised two wonderful sons. She is also a proud grandmother to a grandson who brings tremendous joy to her life. Her family wouldn't be complete without their two lovable Cavapoos, Millie and Harry, who keep everyone smiling!
Amy's Philosophy
Amy believes that counseling is a journey of connection, self-discovery, and hope. She understands that taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming and wants clients to know they don't have to have everything figured out before beginning.
Her goal is to walk alongside each client with compassion, encouragement, and authenticity, helping them discover that even in life's most difficult seasons, there is room for healing, renewed purpose, and sometimes a little laughter along the way.

- What Our Clients Say
Trusted by families across Rockwall

I’m incredibly grateful for my therapist Katrina and the safe, supportive space she provides. She listens without judgment, offers thoughtful guidance, and has helped me gain clarity and better understand myself. I also had EMDR sessions with Anita, who was wonderful and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I truly appreciate them both and the positive impact they’ve had on my healing journey.

Megan is amazing! I have really enjoyed getting to know her and telling her my story! Highly recommend!!

I appreciate Anita for her attention to detail. My son has multiple challenges which makes him difficult to treat. She notates the issues he is having and theconcerns he is dealing with and she makes knowledgeable suggestions for support. I recommend Anita for clients that need consistent support during sudden changes in behaviors. She listens well and cares about the well being of her clients.
