About Anita Henrichson
Anita Henrichson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. Since earning her Master’s degree in Behavioral Science in 1997 and receiving her LPC license in 1999, she has specialized in children’s play therapy, individual and group therapy, family counseling, and more. Anita uses a Person-Centered approach and blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Counseling Experience
Anita has counseled clients on issues like abuse, anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, trauma, self-esteem, relationship problems, and family issues. She also speaks at women’s groups and community events.
Personal Journey
Anita is a breast cancer survivor and has overcome many personal challenges, including divorce and raising three children as a single mother. She is now happily remarried, a stepmother to four, and a grandmother.
